News - Bath Canada Day 2012 Parade Award Winners!

Fifes and Drums of the Canadian Fencibles winners of the Bath Canada Day Parade 'Best Band' category!
On July 1st, 2012, in the heat of summer, clad in wool with brass accoutrements glistening, the Fifes and Drums of the Canadian Fencibles (alias the Loyalist Fifes and Drums) win the admiration of the parade judges.

Our Fife and Drum Corps were part of a large contingent of reenactors who filled the streets of Bath with the sights, sounds and sulphurous smoke of an early 19th Century battlefield. The crowd was large and enthusiastic, even offering refreshments to our parched musicians while on parade.

A special thank you to the town of Bath, the friendly towns people and the many visitors for making the event so enjoyable for us all!
